About Cornerstone Group

Cornerstone was founded by industry veterans, Andrew Harper and Liz Pidgeon in 1998. Initially started as a small development company, The Cornerstone Group grew by the addition of a Property and Facilities Management business and a public car parking business.

Andrew HarperManaging Director

Andrew Harper has over 40 years experience in property across all the major market sectors having worked in agency and development during his career. Andrew began his career in 1980 selling houses and then commercial properties in 1983, specialising in commercial office leasing and major investment sales. After gaining his real estate licence in 1987, Andrew took a position with a listed property development company in Sydney working on major office projects. In 1992 he returned to Brisbane to set up his own company specialising in property development and consulting. This enterprise evolved into his present venture, Cornerstone Properties.

Throughout Andrew’s career, he has actively contributed to various community groups, including assisting Brisbane Grammar School with the development of its $25M Integrated Learning Centre, as well as the Brisbane City Hall Restoration. Andrew was also a Director of the Museum of Brisbane for 10 years.

Liz PidgeonDirector

Liz Pidgeon has been involved in the property industry for over 35 years. Her experience includes property management, leasing and development gained through working with a major Brisbane agency, her family company and Cornerstone Properties. Liz is a former President of the Property Council of Australia (Queensland Division) and is also a Director of F.A. Pidgeon & Son Pty Ltd.

Liz has been involved in supporting community organisations throughout her career, serving as a former Director of Brisbane Marketing and former Board Member of the Wesley Research Institute and the Property Industry Foundation. She also contributed to the Surf Life Saving Foundation as a Board Member and later as Chairman from 2001 to 2010. Liz is currently a Trustee of the Queensland Art Gallery.
